Bromley emerged as an artist in the mid 1980s. From the early stages of his career until the present, he holds solo exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide. He is now recognised as a prolific international artist. David was a finalist in the Archibald Prize in 1999, 2001 and 2004.
David Bromley has developed various themes including two distinct and unique styles of painting; the female portrait and the children's series.
