Often in the artistic process the artwork grows and grows as inspiration takes over. The sheer size then becomes an issue when choosing framing solutions.

If you have an artwork on paper the most common problem is the size of the available matboard. If the artwork is over 1000mm x 1500mm or 1000mm x 1000mm square it is difficult to use a mat border effectively.
